Half Vibrator, Half Necklace: Crave’s Recent Innovation

I have a real weakness for jewelry, for silver, for shiny things, and for unique items in the sex world. And all at once, it seems like all of these things made my dreams come true.

I came across this last month, and I thought it was so legit that I couldn’t pass it up. Crave, a luxury sex toy company that specializes in discreet sex toys that function as USB drives and jewelry, have come out with a new necklace called the Vesper.

The Vesper is a 3.8 inch “pendant” that is actually a vibrator, sort of like a vibrating bullet. It is stainless steel plated with silver, rose gold, or 24 karat gold on a stainless steel chain, plated with the corresponding metal. It’s elegant but daring, and is definitely a sexy statement piece when it’s worn.

Now for it’s other function. The Vesper has three settings – low, medium, high, plus a pulsing setting. It is also rechargeable via USB (no batteries!) and will last 90, 70, or 50 minutes nonstop depending on the setting it is placed on. I read that the vibrator may also heat up with use, but not to the point of burning. Could be sorta sexy I think.

My only possible issue is… The plating. The vibrator itself is stainless steel and will not change color or anything. The cap, which is part of the necklace, is brass and is plated with rose gold, silver, or 24 karat gold. Also, the chain is stainless steel and plated with the same metals. Plating isn’t always terrible, but when they inform you that the plating may eventually wear off… Eh. Maybe with continuous wear, or some hardcore stuff is happening with the cap and the chain…

Overall, I think the necklace is beautiful. Great innovation, I can’t wait to find out if it’s as fabulous in person as it seems. They are running a production run for a few more weeks where you can get your own Vesper for lower introductory prices https://crave.tilt.com/the-sexy-side-of-wearable-tech
